I like the idea of two photos joined together. Might even do something like this with a friend of mine :) Though we are both just starters with photography and it's only a hobby of ours.
Do you choose a theme each week? How do you put the pics together - if for ex. Ian gets Caroline's pic and puts them together, doesn't he get to choose which of his photos goes along with Caroline's one? Or does an "outsider" actually make the diptych?
Hi, thanks for the lovely comment. You should do something like this, its really fun to see how they work with each other each week. The way we do it is that we each choose a photo and then take it in turns to email each other first. The person that receives the photo then gets to choose which way round to display them. This means that it is fair and we both get to choose how they are displayed. Hope that makes sense I have a feeling that I havn't explained it very well but I tried!
Every week Ian Land and Caroline Hancox will be joining forces to create a diptych. 1 photo from Ian and 1 from Caroline will be displayed together here. To make things more interesting they live 114 miles apart, have never met and do not know what the other one has taken during the week. This blog is where the images will be displayed to see the progress.

I'm just wondering :)
