Collaboration Plan Familiar surroundings and daily life can say a lot about our way of living and understanding the world. This project aims to create new meanings for our ordinary spaces and thoughts by sharing them among the participants. More than making a parallel among people that have never met each other before, the project proposes a meeting and an intimate dialog among them.
Process plan
During 7 days the participants will send each other a pair of a picture and words or statements that have to be "answered" by the other one, who will produce, for his/her turn, a new pair of "questions" and so on. At the end the dialogs will be assembled in groups of four, organized by the days of the week.
Every week Ian Land and Caroline Hancox will be joining forces to create a diptych. 1 photo from Ian and 1 from Caroline will be displayed together here. To make things more interesting they live 114 miles apart, have never met and do not know what the other one has taken during the week. This blog is where the images will be displayed to see the progress.
Hi Ian and Caroline!
ReplyDeleteNice to see this blog. You've done a beautiful work together.
Last year, I did a similar work with a friend (I've never met her) for a collaborative work.
